There's nothing terrible about this. "Period" medicine is simply a pain killer with a very mild muscle relaxant. Nothing is going to happen to you. If these medications were in any way more dangerous than Tylenol, you would not be able to buy them without a prescription. There is absolutely no estrogen or hormones of any kind in medication that is used to alleviate the symptoms of a period. You need a prescription for any medication that contains any kind of hormone.

What is period medicine?XD If it was just painkillers then they just kill the pain. If it was birth control pills or something the like, nothing will happen to you, too little hormones. If the headace went away and it was birth controll pils or something similar, it was probably the placebo effect.

I'm guessing they're either Mydol or ibuprofren, which I think are almost if not exactly the same thing. :)

Unless they're birth control, which is probably still a no. But I'm pretty sure those don't help pain, so I doubt she gave you that.

I agree with others that it was probably Midol. Nothing will happen to you. I have a friend who keeps a bottle on her desk all the time. She uses it when she feels stressed out, whether she's on her period or not. You'll be fine.

I guess it may have been Midol, which is sold over the counter and have tylenol in it.

If in doubt, ask to see the bottle and read the label.

The estrogen in period medication will not have not have any significant effect on you other than a bit of permanent shrinkage of the male genitalia.
