Question:
How to support myself? (Please help!)?
I'm seventeen (will be 18 in four months) and I have been worrying about my future. I have depression, extreme anxiety/social anxiety- to the point where rarely leave my house- possibly 1-3 times a month.(havent been to a public place-like walmart- in over a year) I shy from even my parents and siblings due to my anxiety of them seeing me and judging on my appearance. I was taken out of school when I was 14 due to anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. I was hospitalized 2 times for a week each around that same time. Now back to my point- with my 18th bday coming soon I have been agonizing over how I'm going to support my needs. My parents say they will always care for me no matter what, but they struggle to supports us kids even now. My question is with all of this is there anything that could help my financial means (or give money to my parents) Something like disability....? I would really, really appreciate and opinions, thoughts or advice!

You can go down to your local social security office and they will tell you what kind of benefits you may be able to get. If you have been getting treatment for your severe problems then that will help you. It won't hurt to try.
you may be able to apply for disability benefits but your best bet is asking a mental health charity in your local area
if your in the states well im afraid i don't know much about your system but if in the uk if you have been ill for more then 6 months then yes you an apply for disability allowance or esa
see the job centre for advice wherever you are
best wishes
