Answers:

You just have to be really strong and make the changes in your life you need to make to make you feel better. I was suicidal for a really long time and I overcame it. I was being dragged down by people in my life and I wasnt making an effort to meet new ones and get out more. What has helped me is meeting new people that are positive and dont bring me down and it helps a lot to get outside. You dont have to like...jog or do anything like that unless that would help you, but just get out of your house. Go outside, even just driving around helps me alot. Meet someone for lunch or something. Depression meds made me like a zombie and they didnt even help me. There are these vitamins called Mega B Stress vitamins that you can find anywhere I think, I get them from Whole Foods. And those have helped me with anxiety. Just make an effort to get out and meet up with people that you feel good around and I think you will notice a big change in how you feel. I hope this helps you.

You're recovery is possibly in your diet or other common products. It was for me. Non-organic milk/dairy was the major problem. I discovered this by accident when treating my IBS. Please see my post at the following answer and visit all of the sources, including my non-profit web site. Good luck to you BTW, depression is a symptom of chemical sensitivity (low level poisoning not detectable by many or any tests). It often can be eliminated via avoiding toxins in food and common household products that are too toxic for nerve cells that regulate brain chemistry, when those nerve cells are over-sensitive to toxins. You have nothing at all to lose and it's a very healthy treatment you may not want to stop.

I got off the pills too. I just learned to do things I like, stay busy, and it helps to have faith in God. I also happen to be believe in the power of pets! I have two cats and they have been with me through thick and thin and some lonely Saturdays. I wouldn't trade them for any medication! :-)

Do things you enjoy. Thats really all I have to say. You also could move somewhere sunny and try yoga. You may need to talk to your doctor or pyschiatrist on that one.
