How can I improve my Emotional IQ?
I.e. improve my skills at social interaction. I was hoping for a free programme off the net.
I do have a achedemical IQ of 162, but what good is that if i'm depressed?

You may have something like Asperger's Disorder. It's not uncommon among gifted adults. It means you have difficulty relating to other people, have trouble understanding social cues, etc. Check on the web under OASIS: Organization for Asperger's Syndrome Information & Support.
There are books out you can get at the library, like *Emotional Intelligence* by Daniel Goleman.
If you are clinically depressed, you may benefit from therapy and/or medication from a doctor or psychiatrist.
