Question:
Why a child studying sometimes lack motivation?and how can he be motivated?
Answers:
This began happening to me more and more when I was in high school. I just stopped caring and got distracted too easily. Can't really explain why- studying just seemed unimportant and uninteresting. Try to become involved and help your kid study- quiz him, read with him, help him to draw charts, think of stories or draw pictures to make whatever work it is seem more interesting, or anything else you can think of. Then set him free to study himself. Drive him away from television or other distractions (don't yell too much, just firmly tell him that it is time to study, and help him out for a while, as previously stated), but tell him that if he does a certain amount of studying (and you can quiz him afterwards saying he must get a certain amount right) he can take a break. Try to be as positive about it as you can, otherwise he will see studying as something negative.
