have recently decided to get bilateral H.A. Ihave the money and everything but am still scared have about 60% loss in my right and 50% in my left. I do use sign..do you think my culturally deaf friends will not approve anymore and i dont know how to deal with it with my hearing boyfriend. please i need advice.

Allow yourself to go completely deaf.
Hearing aids will look much more appealing then.
Perhaps, try walking around with ear plugs to get a feel for what it is going to feel like to hear nothing.
