Should i wait?!

Question:

Should i wait?

Is it emotional dependency?
I met a guy whose mother passed away dec 06 and he broke of his engagement with a cheater around the same time. I know that the main of the loss of his mother will last forever but shouldnt he be open for a new healthy relationship after 7-8 months. he claims hes really into me, but i cant help but feel like im his rebound and a shoulder for him to lean on, i mean he lost two major woman in his life. Im current dealing with my own personal problems, i have an ailing parent. hes very supportive and encouraging especially since hes been through what im going through. i dont know what i should do because i really like him and i feel thhat we are both emotionally unstable and were both relying on each other because we dont have anyone else. Is this healthy? Id love to take our friendship to another level but im so confused. please help!!! please provide detailed advice.

Answers:

Finding someone in a time of grief is not uncommon. However, just to make sure that it is not a rebound. Start off as friends and nothing more. It could be the grief talking, and you don't want to add more unstability to the relationship. Don't rush anything, because it could into more of a rebound thing if you are not careful. Become good friends first, and let things take their own course.
