i personally think its very wasteful, the county spent a fortune building new clinics back in the ninetys,the edelman clinic for one cost taxpayers millions ! FOR THE AMOUNT OF SERVICES THEY PROVIDE THEY COULD DO JUST AS WELL WITH A TRAILER PARKED ON A VACANT LOT!

most mental health systems are very laking worldwide. its not just in L.A i live in the UK and its no better over here. as for the other person that answered that's not very nice when you are ill you are ill and all people in this day and age deserve to be treated and helped no matter what the problem is. Weather you pay or not it should still be the same high standard of treatment given. those that get free medical help are human like anyone else.
