Cannot study, just cannot sit and read a book.?
Greetings, like the topic stated I'm having trouble just sitting and reading a book. I'm smart, I've taken the IQ test and got a 127. Answers come easy and I learn extremly fast, however I cannot sit and study. Be it maths, science, art, phycology all these interest me but I cannot physically apply myself. Same with manuals for a DvD player. I actually sat down and decided to read the manual once and I could not do it.
Doctors say I'm fine as does everyone else but as far as I see it I must be having some kind of Attention Defecit. Does anyone perhaps know more on this or have avenues I could perhaps be looking into.

Beg your doctor for a trial of Adderall or Ritilan. If it makes you calm and more focused, you might have ADD. You will probably have a better chance of getting ADD meds from a Psychiatrist than a regular doctor. I myself tried to do an ADD online test a few times. Each time, I couldn't concentrate enough to finish the test and got frustrated, lol
