Answers:

You are 43, and I say that you should start actually LIVING... and feeling good of everything you are blessed with. If you are at your 40's, my dad always said that's the time you should sit back and look at all your accomplishments, what's been done, and things to come in the future.

With Diabetes I know that it's a hard thing because I experienced it when my grandfather had diabetes. He definitely had to control his eating habits, have more medications than normal, but he came to accept it. He was still mobile and up and about gardening, painting, cooking, etc. at 74. Why would you let a condition that you have the power to take care of interfere? Acceptance and getting a little used to things.

Teenagers now a days are always on lock down amused by whatever is in front of them on the screen. Playing catch is replaced by the television, going out is replaced by the internet... My suggestion to you is plan a time for you two. Plan an event that you know he likes to do whether it be with sports, watching a movie, etc. Even though they're teens, they still need to be taken cared of and given attention even though they don't show it. Even invite some of his friends and have a cookout that way it'll be enjoyable for you two, and he's able to socialize with his friends rather than sit home playing games all the time.

And as for you salary... that is always an issue with people. The question I give you is when will you be content? CONTENT. When you are able to accept and be happy with everything you have, then you will be content. If you are struggling financially not being able to pay for bills etc. then that's when I guess you can speak up about how you feel about it at your job. But seeing that you are able to feed your kids, pay your bills, even manage to spend a little here and there, is one step closer to trying to reach contentment. There's one thing about being ambitious, but being ambitious to the point where you will always want more, will not really get you anywhere.

These are things you can learn to accept and realize that it can all be changed or improved. Just remember to look back at your accomplishments and where you are now. Carpe Diem and LIVE your life, you deserve it!
