I'm having a difficult time dealing with the death of a friend. He died a few months ago of drug over dose.
I still have his last voice message he left on my phone. By the time I got around to calling him back he was dead. I knew something was wrong when he didn't answer his phone or call me back. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get over the death of a close friend?

DEAR, i'm so sorry for the tragic loss of your friend. Please don't feel guilty. A person with an addiction can only be helped if they choose. But you were still their friend during that time and didn't abandon them. Don't think that calling them back would've saved them. Being their friend probably, most definately took away some of there pain. Time will make you feel better. Give yourself time to heal. There's no set time. It's your time to mourn. And I am truly sorry. I believe your friend's pain is over now. God bless you kiddo. ooo
