Sleep talking/walking?!

Sleep talking/walking?
ok I have had psychology classes and i know that in times of high stress people will start to sleep walk. But is it possible to appear awake and be sleep talking?
I'm asking because I'm leaving for Ft. benning in about 16 days and I've gotten no sleep lately, but my girlfriend came over today while i was sleeping and she says I was calling her a bi**h and all kinds of things . Thats not like me I dont talk to my girl like that, ever.
I didnt get out of bed though, I just sat up.
what can i do about this w/o having to go to a doctor?

I sleep talk and sleep eat. There really isn't a lot you can do but you can talk to your doc. I was reading on medicinenet.com about how some people have sex in there sleep and they have a drug to help people who do things in there sleep that they shouldn't be doing unless they are awake. But explain to your girlfriend that you were sleep talking and she shouldn't hold it against you.
