Self mutilation?
Not to whine or anything but in my younger years I had some issues. 2 deaths in the fam, and my father attempted suicide in our bathroom, later attending my grandmothers funeral with gauze all up his arms. Okay done whining, on to the question. I self mutilated for many years, cracking open razors and slicing my arms. I'd flex my arm to make the cut deeper. Its only on my left inner forearm. Now that I'm older, wiser, happier, and healthier I am absolutely mortified by the hideous scars. It's obvious what they are. Its not like I can pretend I fell off my bike or something. What should I do? I don't want people to pity me, or be disgusted, or think I'm unstable! What to do!!!! I hate my stupid younger self. :(

Go to your doctor he can help with medications or send you to plastic surgeon who can help. Probably no one will be able to erase the scars from the ravages of your painful youth.
I have a friend who had a breast removed and once it healed she went to a tattoo artist and had them put a beautiful flower arrangement over the scar!!
You might consider getting a arm sleeve tattoo to cover the scars like some women many are doing after mastectomies! I takes something horrible and helps it to become something healing and beautiful!!!
