Should i start working out now?!

i've been thinking of working out since the last few years, but never got to it
my dad says i shouldn't start doing intense work outs because i won't grow any more, is this true?
cause he wants me to be 2 inches taller, is it ok to start working out now? how should i start? i don't want to buy any of those weight thingys
and i could barely do a pushup but i can do like 30 situps in a roll

You can start working out, but you should be aware that it might stunt your growth. Considering your height now you might be full grown. It's your personal decision. If you can't do one push up, that's okay, just start with knee push ups and then once you can do lots of those move on too real push ups. Then, once you can do five push ups, keep increasing that by 5 each week. Do the push ups at least once a day tho and it will come too you in a snap.
