Question: My girlfriend and I really love each other and we dont know if were ready. Were both 16 and REALLY love each other. We practically live together. I know I have goon through puberty long enough to have sex but I dont know if im ready.

Ultimately this is a question that you and your girlfriend need to answer for yourselves. It is not for anyone else to tell you what to do, because it is a matter of conscience.
However, my rule of thumb has always been, when in doubt, don't do it. In my experience, you know when you are ready and there is absolutely no doubt in your mind.
If you are going to have sex, the first thinkg you need to do is protect yourselves. You need to wear a condom each and every time and she should go on birth control. If you aren't ready to commit to protecting yourselves, then you are definitely too you to have sex. If you need protection, you can always go to Planned Parenthood.
I personally think 16 is too young. Sex fundamentally changes the dynamics of a relationship and there is no pretending that it didn't happen after you have sex. You are very young and you have a lot of life ahead of you. Why not wait until you are ready, until you are absolutely certian that it is the right person, the right time and the right decision?

only do it if you are really ready. if you think you're not ready yet, dont do it. If you're not really sure just dont and wait for the time when you are ready. I think she will appreciate that and understand it.
