Well, I'll say this. I'm gay, and when I was growing up, I wanted kids, too. And I have kids. Being gay doesn't mean you CAN'T have sex with girls, it just means you like or prefer guys. Now, at your age, it's not unusual for a guy to be turned on by gay sex or the thought of it. During puberty, it is normal to go through a stage when you find the same sex as yourself attractive, this is normal, and will probably stop in later life, you sound a little depressed, and this is also normal when you are going through puberty. At you're age, it is normal to get loads of erections, you're friends have just learnt to hide them better. Oh and if you want to masturbate, then you can, but you don't have to if you don't want to.

You don't sound too gay. During puberty, any kind of sexually will turn you on, whether it be gay or straight. I'm sure that all teenage boys would get an erection if they saw their friend's erect penis. Also, it is normal for you to get erections when around the opposite sex.
