Is bone age accurate??!

Question: my doctor asked me to do bone aging,..because i want to know how tall i could be,...i am 15 and 5"6 incheses...and my final height in bone age was i can just be 1 cm taller.....so strange

It gets much more reliable as you get older; there can be so much variance in infants that it makes the bone age projections little better than ballpark estimates. As you get older and closer to the end of your bone growth there is less possible variance in the much shorter remaining period of time, and the estimates and projections are much more accurate.
