Short Term Memory Tips?!

Question: So I'm a young, health man. I eat right, sleep fine and work a non-stressful job that I love.

I seem to have a problem with Short Term Memory loss, or forget small things.

It occurs for spur of the moment things. LIKE, I get in the work truck the other day, my partner says "we should fill up with gas," I agree, and pull out of the parking lot. Not more than 5 blocks later, I forget to pull into the Gas station.

Someone calls about something on the phone, and unless I write it down, I'll sometimes forget what they called about.

Maybe I'm thinking about something else during that second someone talks to me, maybe my brain lost it's C: drive slot for extreemly short term memory. I dunno. Maybe I'm just a guy.

Anyone else have this problem, and what tips do you have to help me improve my memory.

This is quite normal as you age. To keep your brain active, do puzzles and read alot. Anything that stimulates the brain, like brain teasers. It is inevitable, but maybe you can slow it down. We all get it eventually.

I have the same problem...

I don't listen and trake it in.... making me forget...

The small things arn't as important so the get put to the back of your mind. Like paying someone on Ebay. I put a bid on an Ipod case, forgot all about it, didn't pay, oopps.
