Your bones aren't fully developed at least until you are 18!. So lifting heavy weights can be damaging to your bones!.
Another issue is that if you are still growing, your muscles need to grow longer to continue to cover your bones!. If your muscles are being torn from working out, then they focus on recovery and growing thicker, and will not be able to grow as long!.

I don't think it will have any impact on whether you grow or not!. They just increase muscle bulk!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
