It will absolutely help... but after a couple weeks, you may need to increase the number of reps or add some resistance by holding a 5 pound weight on your chest. If you finish an exercise and don't feel like you've done anything, you need to up the intensity.
In terms of the baby fat... don't stress it too much, at your age it may melt away by itself. But if you can see a way to cut a few calories-- like switching to a lower fat milk or doing unsweetened tea instead of soda-- it couldn't hurt.
Do crunches, sit-ups and obliques to work the whole Ab area. You can also alternate by doing Planks too and that will help with the smaller muscles and work the whole core. Don't do Ab exercises every day, give the muscles a day of rest between workouts. At 15 you still have some growing to do so the exercise plus natural maturation will play in your favor.
