Growing up catholic in the 60s, I was forbidden to even think about sex. Nature takes its course no matter what teachings "liberal or not" you get.

Religious leaders love to keep their faithful in the dark, more control for them to exert . . . Have sex, you will learn how to please a woman, not just use one.

I don't know why you bring smoke, drink, drugs in the equation; it has nothing to do with sexual urges and it will not make it easier for you to deal with your beliefs later.

I have a lot of sympathy for a religion that condemns smoking and drugs, not so sure about an absolute condemnation of alcohol as in small doses it can be therapeutic. As regards sex, which is frankly a normal healthy biological function and a pre-programmed imperative, your religion clearly has some unrealistic and irational aims.
