What the f#%k, i work out every other day and have no muscle.?

i work out every other day and have little muscle. My friend work out half as much as me for a couple months and stoped working out three months ago and still is bigger. neither of us take any supplements (creatine, no-explode, steroids).

Am i overdoing it? I workout everyother day. i only have a 25 pounder and a 20 pounder. I lift the 25 pounder forty times (reps) and then right away i lift the 20 pounder thirty times(reps) and then without taking a break i do sixty pushups. Thats just for one bicep. I take 5 minute break and do the same with the other arm. then i take 5 minute break and lift the 25 pounder sixty times (reps) ( the tricep workout way) for tricep workout and then do sixty pushups. then i take ten minute break and then do another set exactly the same but with ten less reps for all the workouts.


Answers:

If u hv just started working out then it will take a few days to see results. It could also be that the weight is to light or something. The next day after you do all that are you sore at all? If not then you need to do more weight and/or more reps.
