Vasectomy question?

is it painful i want my husband to go through this procedure?

It's not "Pain Free" that's for sure.

Trust me, I have had it done TWICE.

Yes. The first time was done while I was consious under a local anesthesia. The needle that come at you with (and stick you) is the WORST PART! After that, it wasn't exactly comfortable, but it WAS brief. Afterwards you feel like someone kicked you hard in the nuts for about 2 to 3 days. (Did you see "Casino Royale"? It's kind of like that.) Then it's not so bad. You are back to your "normal" self in a few weeks, but it takes about a month or two for all of the discomfort to leave, especially during sex.

About a year and half after my first vasectomy. My wife was pregant. I went back to the urologist and sure enough... swimmers! So just remember it's not 100%.

For round 2, I was put under. Call me a wimp, but there was NO WAY they were coming at me with that needle again!
