Will i grow tall if...?
Im 18, and i am carrying heavy load on my shoulder everyday(A shoulder bag). will this stop me from reaching 5"11 from 5" 9 ??
I had heard somewhere that carrying heavy load hinders a person from growing tall. Is it true; why/ why not ?
Answers:
Carrying heavy items can make you look like you are not reaching your full height, due to you slumping from the weight. However, if it's too heavy for a long period of time (as in years of a daily routine), later in life you can have results of vertebrae disc problems of the cushions being compressed. Which can make you appear not as tall an can result in some discomfort.
