Anyone guy out there ever have these problems with shaving?

No matter what I do, (literally i've tried everything) when I shave my face looks likes its broken out with pimples. They only come up when I shave and they are only in the beard area. I've tried shaving in the shower, using Hydroglide, using a preshave oil, used single bladed razors, doubles, and even triple, all to no prevail. I am tempted to use an electric, but before I do I wanted to get some guys opinions on if there is anything I can do? The way I see it is that I have two options
1. spend a ton of money and buy a REAL double edge safety razor and get quality blades, or
2. get an electric
I've heard through wetshavers.com that pretty much all disposable razors suck, so, will a DE safety razor do me any better?

sorry that was long, but wanted to add that my hair doesn't grow in like most guys' typically does, and this is why I think I have the problems I do. I guess you could call it razor burn, but it doesn't burn or hurt at all, it just looks like absolute ****, so I guess it's just a form of it. Anyways, my hair swirls in many parts on my neck and jaw, it goes one different way on one side of my face and goes sideways on the other. No matter what way I shave (i.e. even with the grain on the sides, and you tell me, it's a guessing game everytime on my neck) it does this. So should I try the DE safety razor or am I better off with an electric-if I am any recommedations?

Cough up some money for a gillette fusion razor blade and the fusion shaving cream
Has 5 blades and 1 at the back for trimming
It is definitely worth the money.Don't use disposables,they just f*ck up your face.I get those rash type pimples too.After using the gillette it went away
