Red bump after shaving?!

Question: I got this red bump after shaving and it's pretty visible. I'm just shaving too quickly so it happens sometimes..
Now, I've got hot water and cold water.
What's best to "heal" this quickly? (Don't have anything else right now, only water).

If you have curly hairs then they might be ingrown but a dip in cold water will do them good. Its cos you're shaving too fast its called razor burn. You should have a shower before shaving because it softens the hairs making them not so... hard. Use shaving cream (for ladies). Be sure to do it steadily and evenly.

cold water unless it is an ingrown hair

is it only 1 bump? well either way...i know this is silly but my friend suggested preparation H (for hemoriods, lol) it takes swelling down...try that if you have it...or ice cubes and cold water

If you get them all the time and you're not using shaving foam or any soaps. Then maybe you need to think about investing a bit of money into buying you an electric shaver. Less skin irritations with those.

thehill8 pick up a product called Bump Patrol. You won't be sorry and it not expensive. You can purchase it at Wal Mart where else ! Good Luck!
