i am just getting over strep throat. the symptoms are a very high and sudden fever. 102 and higher, severe sore throat, very red and swollen with white patches of pus on the back of throat and tonsills. extreme tiredness, loss of appetite, a little nasea. u will not know for sure unless the doctor performs a rapid strep test or strep culture. so go to the doctor and find out. it is very contagious. hope u feel better.

It sounds more like an upper respiratory infection or a sinus infection. The drainage will make your throat hurt, and the yellow/green signifies an infection. Go to the doctor. If for some reason you can't, try gargling with salt water. This will probably only help the symptoms though; if you actually have an infection you'll most likely need antibiotics.

look in your throat with a flashlight. if you have strep, you will see pus pockets in your throat.
yellow green gunk is just phlegm, which is just a sign of infection, probably in your lungs. blood is not a good sign. call the doctor. if you are concerned about possible strep, they will run a rapid strep test, and you get the results within the day i think.

Go to the doctor. That's the only way you'll know. They do a special test for it. Don't mess around with your health!!!

No its not strep..its probably just a sinus infectrion i have one right now
