Tattoo and Sonic Cleaner?!
Question: My nephew has a Sonic Cleaner which he uses to clean his needles before he tattoos someone and i was wondering, does a Sonic Cleaner, which uses water, actually kills the bacteria and everything that causes diseases or infections, like Hepititis C, Aids, Herpies, etc... or should he mix some alcohol with it, or does the water do all that just by itself.

First thing it is very illegal for tattoo shops or tattoo artist to reuse needles. I would never let any tattoo artist touch me with a used needle. I don't care how well they think that they Clean them. Using used needles are just not a smart thing to do.

Stop your nephew from tattooing right now! Shut him down and give him a good talking to. Call the health department on him or something. It is **ILLEGAL* to reuse a tattoo needle. Even with an autoclave, it's illegal to reuse a needle. He has absolutely NO business whatsoever reusing those needles!!! He's going to spread hepatitis B&C, HIV, invasive Strep and Staph, and mycobacteria.
NEVER REUSE A TATTOO NEEDLE. NEVER!!!
