Can anyone tell me the best way to deal with this sickness bug - i feel awful?!

Question: Depending upon your disease, you should always get a full-night's rest, drink plenty of fluids (especially hot tea with lemon/honey), and stay warm. Do not get addicted to cough medicines, which can prolong your cold. Try taking the supplements Zinc and Echinacea, which boost immunity. Eat warm foods such as soups, and be sure to move around (staying in bed all day sometimes makes colds last longer).
Get well soon!

OK lots of us have had or got it. You will feel awful, but not a lot you can do about that... Drink plenty, water or fruit juice , keep warm, do not go out for two or three days. take paracetamol. No point seeing doctor or going to hospital. Lasts from 1 to 3 days, If an elderly or young person and you are worried, ring NHS direct for advice...Hope you feel better soon.

Drink plenty of water to keep hydrated and take paracetamol if necessary. Get plenty of rest.

They recommended on the TV this morning to call NHS Direct if you feel really bad and they can give you advice. Their website is www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk, or their telephone number is 0845 4647, or 0845 4647647.

Hope you feel better soon xx

Its taking at least 3 weeks before showing any signs of getting better and just when you think you are its back !!

drink plenty of fluids (lots of plain water) so that you don't become dehydrated. Take Paracetamol for stomachache. DON'T go to work, the doctor's, or anywhere at all socially, for a few days.......... it's VERY contagious
