My college just had a breakout of it last semester, about 12 people got it. Few of my close friends got it as well, lucky for me that I didnt!

No never had it and I have had three surgeries within the last two years. You are told to keep asking the staff if they washed their hands before they do any direct care. For one of the surgeries I was in in an ICCU unit for over a month, related to other complications, and couldn't ask. And I know for a fact that it is in the hospital I was in.
