Question: His blood pressure is only 97/56, his pulse is in the 50's, his body tempurature is only 97.5, his cholesterol is below 130 unless he eats eggs everyday, and he is cold natured. He had his thyroid checked and it was normal. He is also depressed a lot and takes medicine for hypogonadism.

It sounds like there could be something going on with his endocrine system besides hypogonadism. It would be a good idea for him to see an endocrinologist and get a complete blood panel.

He may also have an iodine deficiency. This just happened to my girlfriend. They thought it was anemia, but it ended up being an iodine deficiency. It's rarely checked for unless you request it. Have them test you bloodwork for it! Good Luck!
