If you suffer from RLS and take Requip.?!
Question: I was up all nite last nite with my legs I feel tonight will be a repeat of last nite. Do you know if I can take a second pill tonight? I have got to have some sleep. I take 1mg. I will check with my dr. Monday but just for tonight?

I took Requip for a while. I would almost go to sleep driving and have to stop. I would have short but scary hallucinations where I couldn't wake up. Obviously you don't have that on your usual dose. But you might have my problem if you up the dose without supervision!
Don't exceed recommended dose.
New meds can do weird things.
I suffer from RLS, too. But I haven't tried Requip. To me, it sounded like the possible side effects exceeded the benefits. Now I've heard that docs are no longer prescribing
Quinine for RLS, not that it worked all that well anyway. I would be afraid to take another pill, but you could always call a 24 hr. pharmacy and ask a pharmacist. The Pharmacist could tell you if it is considered safe to take another pill, even though they might be relunctant to say.
