You could have allergies or maybe sinus problems, I'd let your Doctor know, just figure it out so you don't have to deal with it no more
Often it's from a slow trickle of liquid from the sinuses into the throat which prompts a cough.
Maybe the air is getting stale and damp in your bedroom?? Open the windows during the day to let the fresh air circulate through your house ............ check for mold behind curtains and cupboards as this could be causing it. The onset of a cold will also produce these symptoms.
