Lump on neck, HELP!!?!
Question: I'm REALLY scared! I just found a lump on my neck. Its bellow my left ear. It's kind of hard and pretty small, like about half a centimeter, of a full centimeter, i cant tell. I'm only 12, so this is really scaring me!! Do you think it could be caused by stress? I also have a big alsore(spelling?-those white things in ur mouth). I have finals this week, so that could be it. but, i also have a cold. so i took a sudefed to stop the stuffyness. it could be just stuck in my neck, but i dont care. please tell me what it means!!!

What your describing sounds like an enlarged lymph node (otherwise called a gland). Since you have a mouth ulcer and a cold, it would suggest that your immune system is working hard to limit the infection you have, and to protect you from further infections. This is what it is supposed to do, so relax!
You probably are feeling a little stressed at the moment, so when your finals are over, get a little rest and relaxation...
You deserve it!
If the gland doesn't disappear when your ulcer and cold have gone, get a doctor to have a look, but I'm sure this is all it is.
It's probably just a lymphnode. It's about the size of a pea, right? Everyone has lymphnodes; they're responsible for producing white blood cells to fight infection. You say you have a cold, so your lymphnodes are just working overtime to get rid of it.
PS - alsore = ulcer. It's probably just a kanker sore.
See a doctor. You might have an infection.
