IGNORE THEIR ANSWERS. I have Tons of peircings over 20 to be honest. Alcohol is bad so is peroxide. I recommend taking the rings out and quick question was it done with a gun? Guns are not sterile and crush the blood vesels flows increasing infection if you want it done right get it done with NEEDLES. Use a liquid called bactine it works wonders. Keep your hair off the wound and make sure you pillow cases are clean it helps. Use a triple antibiotic ointment but only after cleaning it or your trapping the bacteria.
Then go see a doctor about the bump it could be blood/ puss filled. I hope this helps

yes it is infected. you need to get some peroxide or antibiotic cream. also, could be a nasty pimple.

Yes, it is infected. Clean it well w/ peroxide and alcohol. Dry it well and put triple antibiotic cream on it. Keep your hands and hair away from it. If it is in the cartilage of your ear, it can be very serious if infected and not treated.

Erikah is very right!!! Peroxide SLOWS the healing the process. That's why it has been taken out of every school nurses' office in Virginia.
Things to use to clean it:
Salt water
Contact lens cleaner (none of the fancy cleaners, just the plain cheapo stuff)
