In Australia there is an organization called 3 AM Wigs that take hair donations for cancer victims.
My daughter donated to Locks Of Love here in the States.

try to google...locks of love......I have knew a few people who have done the same

Go to this website, www.locksoflove.org. It should give you a lot of information. :) And kudos to you for trying to make a difference!

is there an australia cancer society im trying to grow my hair to it is knoting very badly i need to grow it for those people

check with your local hairdresser, they should know.

The hair you cut for donation has to be a minimum of 12" long.

Call the salons in your area. Chances are, they will have an answer for you. Some salons will donate automatically for you.
