She's 17 and hes 23?!
Question: my niece who is 17 in physical apperance only....she acts like my 10 yr old mentally...is dating a 23 yr old man. they have had sex and i am worried cause i heard he has/does share needles with his parents who have hep c. we dont know if he has it...though we r sure he does...and he didnt tell her. can he be prosectued for endangerment? also is the age difference illegal?

This is illegal as she is not yet 18. You should report him to law enforcement and they may be able to help.
In most states, over 16 is consenting age, so he probably can't be prosecuted. Just get her tested!!

Trust me, the right attorney will help your family out...The other important thing that will help your family win a prosecution like this is community support. Get the local Rape Prevention involved, get child services to provide statistic on the subject, get someone from the Treatment facilities involve, so the courts will further know the seriousness of the problem...Get the physician involved by giving a report of what could happen to your sis if she does contract it, and how will it affect her body....Get D.A.R.E. involved....the more support you have the stronger your case will be....Alot of people in Alcoholics Anonymous and Cocaine Anonymous can give living testimonies of how they contracted various diseases and spreaded them around, and how they affected other people's lives and their family lives as welll....good luck keep me posted....
