Question: It seems like I get the same infection every other month.
Starts with my glands in my throat .sore throat.. sinus pain and then it moves to my chest.all with a yellow colored mucus.
Im sick for a week and better for 3 then its back?? help

By any chance to you notice a funny taste in your mouth when you wake up in the morning just before you start to get sick. Are you plagued with post nasal drip or have difficulties with your ears such as tinnitis or fluid build up on a chronic basis? If so, then TKS might be on the right track. Sinusitis or even chronic sinus infection that when you are treated with antibiotics attentuate the infection but don't completely knock it out and that is why it keeps coming back. The Mayo clinic protocol for sinus infections is to put the person on antibiotics for 21 days. This is because the bacteria just love the warm, wet environment that they provide and that they breed so well in. It take the 21 days to not only kill the bacteria but to keep it and all of the opportunitistic organisms from taking up residence in their place. On a more holistic approach you can also try using a Neti pot. This is a small ceramic device that when filled with a mild saline solution is used to gently flush out the nasal passages and thus the sinus' to reduce the amount of allergens and mucus built up in them. Go to your doctor. You may have a sinus infection, or an upper respiratory infection that needs an antibiotic to finally clear it.
