First of all, no one has flawless skin. Some people have it better than others, but thats just genes and stuff. Go to www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 for skin and beauty tips. I know its for young girls, but it works for anyone!

I know some people who have tried ProActive and it worked, but I also know some others who have tried it and it made it worse :( I know some who have put rubbing alchol on their skin or peroxcide to dry up the pimples. It also kills bacteria :) . Also, try going to a dermotoligist, or ask your regular doctor. Often times the regular doctor, who knows more about your med. history and whatnot can help you more than a dermatologist.

are you a vegetarian? That might have something to do with it. Its worth checking into.

Try dabbing toothpaste or honey on your zits before you go to bed - works wonders.

Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin.

Oh, and try a different kind of foundation, if you wear it. Try to use a kind with lots of water in it. It looks great and doesn't clog pores half as bad. And check your habits - do you prop your chin up a lot with your hands? That might cause the acne as well. Look for the cause, as well as the cure.

ok what i use is something called Sea Breeze
which you can get at walmart or that new neutrogena
stuff that claims they're better than proactive, but
im not sure about that.

hope i helped (:

Proactive never worked on me. Try products that have benzoyl peroxide it them. Dab on pimples and leave overnight. In 3 days, you should be pretty cleared up...

Try Clearasil Ultra Treatment Cream. Worked for me.

ZoDerm Redi-Pads are the only thing that always works for me. I use the 6.5 redi-pads. You should ask your dermatologist about it.

Maintain a diet that is rich in cottage cheese, salads, fresh juices, fish and yogurt. These help to cleanse your system and ward off pimples.More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/

Other than washing your face a lot :

Ice down the acne before bed, by morning it should be noticeably less swollen. Works best on larger pimples that have not yet formed a head.

Put toothpaste on your pimple before you go to bed, should help reduce swelling overnight. Make sure it is the paste not the gel. One of the most popular acne home remedies.

Tea Tree oil can also be applied directly to infected pores.

Apply fresh lemon juice on the affected area overnight. Wash off with warm water next morning. Lemon juice makes it dry though, so make sure whenever your face is dry that you use a moisturizer, or else your skin will peel.

Drink plenty of water.

Pimple Removal :

Prepare for a small surgical pimple removing procedure. You'll need a small sewing needle, a bottle of alcohol, some gauze (or a small band-aid), and some warm water. Some people think you'll need to run a needle through a flame. This isn't Dr. Quinn Medicine woman. Rubbing alcohol will do.
Wash your face and hands before attempting to pop the pimple. Washing your face and hands ensures that all makeup, oils, germs and bacteria are no longer near the pimple you're about to burst. Also, dip a majority of the needle in the alcohol, and for safe measure apply some of that alcohol to your fingers and the pimple--dabbing with some gauze to dry the area.
Prick the white part of the pimple very lightly with the tip of your needle. Once you've done that, put two small squares of gauze on either side of the pimple and apply pressure with two fingers to ensure that the remaining puss is squeezed out of the pore, retaining pressure until clear liquid appears. When clear liquid or blood appears, you'll know the pimple is gone.
Wipe the pimple clean with an alcohol soaked gauze pad. It'll sting a little, but that's a good thing. The alcohol will kill most of the bacteria in and around the wound, helping you to avoid an infected pimple. If you wish, you can put a small, sterile bandaid on the area or cover it with an antibacterial concealer

For the redness, put eye drops on it. Eyes drop will take the redness away.

I have the same problems with you gosh I HATE PIMPLES.

PROACTIVE IT WORKS!!!!

Anything with benzoyl peroxide would do the trick. I use clearasil ultra and it works like a charm!!
Try that.

i have the problem to use this clearisel blackhead clearing scrub it bring them out but then after a few days they go away

Used Breeze

Lol proactive sucks. Jessica simpson is a liar on the infomercials! lol I have had VERY VERY BAD ACNE for 7 years now. I suggest if yours is actually bad, going to a dermatologist and ask about accutane. it really really works! it's the strongest medication out there. take it for 6 months and its gone! expensive, but if you have insurance it will be fine. you might need 2 six month treatments. I am going on my second because Mine was so so very bad that it only cured it halfway but DRASTICALLY. In the meantime use Clean and Clear Makeup Removing Cleanser. it's amazing. it's only a couple bucks too. it's not a face wash that is pansy! it really works!! it really removes your face makeup and leaves you squaky clean. lotion to use-eucerin sensitive skin or Cetaphil lotion.
