1st of all it may not be Amyl Nitarte - Poppers is a generic term for numerous forms of Sniffable Nitrates.

2ndly unless you swallow them, or have a serious heart complaint it wont kill you...

3rdly Its not lack of Oxygen that causes the headache its a dilation of blood vessels causing rebound increased intracranial pressure

and finally - Nothing only time will heel your burns, Im afraid you will have to walk around looking silly for a while longer yet

QUIT BEFORE YOU KILL YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

chemical burn. cold water, antiseptic cream, keep area dry and dont pick the scabs.

If your going to be silly enough to use poppers, try using a better brand.

Amyl Nitrite burns are best treated with cold soapy water (mild or baby soaps only) otherwise lots of cold water splashed on should do it. Gently press the towel to dry your nose, rubbing could cause a rash and make it sting for hours. The burning should disappear after a good couple of hours. If the burning/irritation continues, rub a little vaseline on it

L******** of Arabia: You are RIGHT! There is a chance you could burst a blood vessel with them. The headache is your brain swelling through lack of oxygen and being posioned by artifical chemicals. For every high there is a low (golden rule)

Poppers are sooo bad for you, i have sniffed them once or twice and the headache you get after them ..... OMG trust me its sooooo not worth it.... They can kill you too .....

PLEASE UK government ban these horrid chemicals

......it's not the burns under your nose i would be worried about......hehehe......
