Blood clots may be formed by: lack of exercise, certain meds, loss of elasticity within the veins and other vrious reason. I do hope that he is under a MDs care? Good luck :O)

well you see as blood particles go down the blood stream and they see other blood particles known as their brothers, sisters or cousins they stop and chat then more come along and poof all that traffic caused a Blockage..
