Is This A Cold Sore?!
Question: I have some redness at the corner of my mouth, and when you look at it, it kinda looks like little cuts...it hurts to open my mouth!
Anyway...my question was...I was looking around on here for some ways to get rid of it faster, and I kept reading that signs that you get a cold sore are itching/tingling, and that it itches after you get it, but I don't have that. (I have had this happen before though)
So...does this sound like a cold sore and how can I get rid of it soon (preferably with at home remedies)?

It's not a coldsore. I actually have the same stupid problem, again! And it is so annoying and painful. it hurts to open my mouth completely wide cause its like someone took a razor blade and slightly cut my mouth.
It happens to me cause I go tanning and sometimes forget to put on my chapstick. It's not a cold sore sweetie. Your lips are dry from the cold or sudden change in weather. And you haven't been keeping them moisterized. chapstick...
it seems like a cold sore, i don't really get itching/tingling w/ my cold sores ahah.
i don't really have any home remedies just use a lot of chapstick to keep it moist along w/ some abreva or blistex.
i dont think it is a cold sore i think it is just cracked skin from the cold weather probly and from you face being so dry.
