A bruise inside of your brain can be caused from a stroke or a subdural hematoma.
Strokes are usually caused by a ruptured vessel which causes hemmorhage or a clot or plaque stuck in the vessel which clogs off the blood supply to a portion of the brain]
PS: I took human cadaver disection and a stroke on a cadaver brain looks like a big bruise on a mushroom.

I believe you are correct.

yup, massive hemorrhage is a ruptured blood vessel that has bled out, when it happens in the brain it is called a brain attack or stroke, and it is often fatal.

A contusion is a bruise. A hemorrhage is a bleed. A contusion on the brain is a concussion. A Bleed on the brain is a type of stroke.

A brain hemorrage can be an anyerism. That is where the artery has like a blister on it and it errupts and bleeds in your brain. Then when it bleeds it becomes a stroke. Please can live with this if they don't bleed. Some people can have this all their lives with no problem but sometimes the errupt and that is the problem. They could cause the person to die or be brain dead if not caught in time. I had this happen to me around 5 years ago last August. It took me 5 months to recover with going to see someone to make my brain work again. I had to exercise my brain to make it funtion correctly so my short term memory would come back. I was one of the lucky few and was able to go back to work.

that's what happened to my father, at the age of 40...they operated, but there was nothing to be done; he never regained consciousness and a few weeks later he bled to death from a previously undiagnosed ulcer
