Does every type of HPV get the warts??!

Question: All that I know is that I have the type that is high risk for cervical cancer. As far as I know I do not have any warts. I believe that I have had hpv for around a year already. So could I still get the warts or does the type I have not cause warts?? Any advice would be helpful...thanks!

The cancer-causing types don't usually cause warts...ever.

You seem very calm with your diagnosis...that is good! It is wonderful to be strong like you are, because when you are strong, your immune system is strong.

Make sure you get your PAP smears regularly to check for pre-cancer cells. Also do know....I have come across some instances where a person diagnosed with HPV eventually clears the virus from their body and comes up negative for HPV in a few years...our bodies are pretty remarkable, aren't they? Take care!
