What are some symtoms of salmonella in a duckling?!

I just got a duckling about 2 days ago, and I want to make sure that everything is ok. Don't know much about salmonella.

There really isn't a way to tell if your duckling carries salmonella.Maybe you could take it to the Vet. I retrieved a turtle for my son while on vacation at the lake. We went home that night and my son insisted on having the turtle in his room.Well, later that night I went to get the turtlr to put him in his cage. My son looked sort of peeked so I felt of his forehead.He was burning up with fever!!! I called my mom and she said get rid of that turtle. I did, I gave my son some Tylenol and I haven't had any problems since.
