Does anybody know about childrens cardiomyopathy?????!
Question: My daughter was just diagnosed last month with this incureable heart disease and I am researching and trying to find families with the same disease. I have an awesome support group but want to know if anyone here knows of it. This is one of the leading causes in children sudden cardiac deaths. Also the number reason for children heart transplant.

i don't know nothing about cardiomyopathy in childern but i do have cardiomyopathy myself and to keep me from sudden cardiac death they put in an ICD maybe you should talk to the dr about having one put in my dr said it could save my life i am sorry i don't know nothing else about cardiomyopathy in children
While I am not in this same situation, I have a friend who is. She is 14 and was just diagnosed about a month ago as well. She is doing well. Unfortunately I'm sick also so I haven't gotten a chance to talk to her a lot about it. But I did find this website: http://www.childrenscardiomyopathy.org/
