Learned my lesson, please help!?!


Question: thanks to all who wrote me telling me i wasnt fat and shouldnt throw up, cuz u guys prob saved my life! =] i really thought i was fatter than anyone, but i feel alright now~ anyways, i think it's prob karma or w/e its called... but right when i decide not to throw up, i get food poisoning! =[ im puking around once every like 1.5 hours, diarrhea, dry heaving and nausea.(i ate a wayy expired can of clam chowder..yikes) but i have no idea what meds to take or what to eat/drink.. thanks! ~lilly s.

let the food poisioning pass, you wont be able to keep anything down anyway... try crackers and ginger ale or tea or other clear liquids once you feel like you can keep it down. you may want to go grab pedialite or gatorade to help with electrolytes so you dont get dehydrated.

See a doctor. That is a quick way to dehydrate yourself and risk more serious symptoms.

vomiting is your body's way of getting rid of the food poisoning.'

taking something like pepto will stop the vomiting

but will leave the bug in you.

lots of water and some tums or pepto bismol to coat your stomach to ease the pain... just H2O the crap out...

you'd think a little animal like a clam wouldn't hurt so much, but i feel your pain...

just do your best to clean it out.

eat saltine crackers drink gatorade (rain kind) or water :)

You don't take anything you have to get over it by yourself.

Dear, food poisoning is nothing to fool around with, see your doctor, ASAP.

if you're throwing up a lot, you need to replace the fluids you're losing. Staying hydrated is the most important because it can disrupt your body's electrolyte balance. Drink something like gatorade because it has electrolytes in it, so that should help some. if you can muster up the ability to eat, try eating bread or some other complex carbohydrate so that it's easy on the stomach to digest. Hope you feel better!
