Fifth Disease?!
Question: My daughter just came home from school and the nurse told her she has fifth disease. She no longer has the flu-like symptoms and now has the rash. After doing some research online its something that cannot be treated with medicine. Does anyone have any tips to help her be more comfortable?

Now that she has the rash the worst is over. Usually the high temp. is the worst after that the rash and she should start feeling better. I don't remember the kids rash bothering them enough to put anything on it .They have aveeno soap to help and I believe a lotion, might help.It made of oatmeal.
thats slapped cheek syndrome - just gove her calpol if she has a temp and calamine lotion for the rashes and let her be a kid i remember having it as a kid with my brothers and we all spent a week playing hide and seek!
Benedryl-- Husband had that and fever thats what emergency room said..
