My adult son has psoriasis.?!

Question: My son has psoriasis and is really miserable. It's effecting his job and personal life and making him feel like a freak. There doesn't seem to be a cure or help for him. He's gone to several doctors. Do you or anyone you know have this condition. If so, what have you done to alleviate the condition. There isn't a cure, but perhaps there is something he can do to live with it and not be so miserable. Thanks for any input.

I feel your son,s pain. I had it horrible in my early and mid twenties. It got so bad that I had to cover my whole body with clothing and I was embarrased to show my face. I had huge silver dollar size sores on my arms. There are some medications that work well, cortizones and steriods, but if he has been to a doctor then he has probably been perscribed these. I found that sun did a good job of clearing it up. Other than that check his diet, take a multivitamin, and exercise. I started running every day, ate healthier and took vitamin supplements and after that I did not see it that much, with the exception of in the face occasionally, but that was usually brought on by stress which is a big cause for it flaring up. You may also want to try a sauna. Good luck I hope it clears up for him.

I've heard that there are creams that the Dr. can prescribe that are steroid based that can help with the redness. Also he can start using a tanning bed for relief, this "artificial sunlight" can give dramatic results to people suffering from psoriasis. Just make sure he starts off with short 15 minute sessions at first and gradually increase over a period of weeks until he is seeing improvement, then reduce down to maybe once or twice a month.

Hello there. I suggest that you should try Champori herbal anti-psoriasis cream and spray combo: it works better than anything else on my plaque psoriasis, and it contains no steroids either. It took me just 2.5 weeks to clear my patches and I haven't had a flare up in more than a year now.
Best,
Bernadette
