Answers: I think that having ears is what causes ear infections.
yes, you never want to put anything in your ears.
yes it makes an imbalance of chemicals in your
It can plug your ear with wax. Occasionally some people get a swimmer's ear infection for water and bacteria in the outer canal. The q-tip itself won't give it
Yes but it's only likely if you stick them in too far. Don't stick them farther than you can see into your ear which is kind of hard to do since you can't see into your own ear but you know what I'm saying. Don't stick them in too deep, then you've got a problem.
no.not if they are sanitary. You can cause problems by using swabs by damaging the ear drum or by damaging the tiny hairs in your ears that are to keep your ears clean by screening airborne dirt. But I have had so much trouble , when I feel an infection coming on , I have used peroxide & water half & half with a swab ( Q-tip ) but you have to be very careful & Dr.s tell you not to. I sometimes think it is related to allergies & you can tell because they start to itch a little ( your ears that is ) anyway I think an infection starts inside the ear for various reasons.Evie
